Disability as an Adult

In many instances, disability is acquired later in life through an accident including brain injury or a physical disability such as spinal cord injury.  An acquired injury requires rehabilitation and learning new life skills compared to someone who has been living with a disability since birth.

Contact your local disability association for more information and support about your disability.
